In what ways do music and dance “intersect” and what are the current theories, practices, innovations, and curricula that are a result of these intersections? As musicians, in what ways might we facilitate the intersection between music and dance through the technique class, dance pedagogy, music for dance, composition, technology for dance, choreography, dance production or performance? Who are the important contributors to the intersections of music and dance and why is their work significant?
