I-CAN is almost here!

The International Guild of Musicians in Dance is pleased to introduce I-CAN
(International Guild of Musicians in Dance Composers Alternative Music
Licensing Network ). The goals of this new web based resource are
threefold:
1. I-CAN provides a user friendly process through which choreographers,
and other artists utilizing music for non-broadcast performances, may obtain
music clearances while providing an informative resource surrounding issues
pertaining to music copyright.
2. I-CAN provides Guild members with a platform to reach a broader
audience advancing the recognition in the process of the unique art form of
composers who apply their artistry to the world of concert dance.
3. I-CAN presents a fair and constructive alternative to the present
frequently frustrating, ambiguous process involved in attempting to secure a
music license that all to often discourages legally mandated compliance.
